Back to TopBarbet Puppy SweepsClub Barbet Canada will also be offering a Puppy Sweeps competition for Barbet puppies 6 months of age and under eighteen months of age and entered in any of the regular official classes at the specialty show. Puppy Sweeps will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 2012. This event will also be held in conjunction with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengary Association Dog Show.The judge for Puppy Sweeps will be Mr. Jim Bricknell.Judges Biography:Mr. Bricknell started showing Newfoundlands in 1972, and breeding in 1975. He has judged Newfoundland National Specialties in eight countries, in Canada, he has judged Specialties for Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees, St. Bernards, Mastiffs, Samoyeds, and Dobermans. Mr. Bricknell is licensed for all of Group 3, all Group 7, and on permit for 1/2 of Group 1. He is a Life member of the CKC and the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada. Mr. Bricknell is the current President of the NDCC , Chair of the NDCC, Judges Education Committee, and a member of the Judges Education Comm. of the Newfoundland Club of America. Club Barbet Canada will be offering a commemorative rosette to all participants who join in the Parade of Title Holders on Saturday August 25th, 2012. Exact time to be announced.Entry Form Exact times of the National Barbet Specialty Show, the Barbet Puppy Sweeps and the Parade of Title Holders will be posted as soon as they become available. Prizes and rosettes will be provided for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Winners, Winners Dog and Winners Bitch.The judge for the Booster will be Peggy Gutierrez-Otero.
